Faire Frou Frou is the creme de la creme in lingerie boutiques.  I have been a customer for several years now.  The extravagance of the store is completely indulgent to what every girl wishes their closets could look like.  Everything in the store is beautiful and delicate.  The owners Alison and her mother Gail know what women want.  The store is very well rounded with all the essential signatures like Hanky Panky and Cosabella, to gorgeous European designers that will take your breathe away!  If you are looking for a special something that will entrance your special someone, this is the place to go!  As well, they have fantastic options for bridal gifts and necessities, and other more exotic nifties that will keep your intimate goddess satisfied.

Ism…I have always been one to have several different ways of tapping into my feminine powers.  I know that it is an important part of expressing yourself by what you wear under your fashion-ables, as much as what the fashion-ables are.  I like to include my intimate apparel into the category of accessories;without something special and pretty underneath, I just don’t feel as connected to my inner feline fires.  I am too much of a lady to show you what fabulous goodies I have found at Faire Frou Frou, but trust me you will be overwhelmed with excitement when you enter their world of delicacies. There are endless reasons why I think everyone should know about Jurlique Skincare. They have the most amazing pure skincare products that give the results everyone is looking for without including chemicals. Everything is not only all natural, but they grow all the ingredients for their products on a biodynamic farm in South Australia. They are self sustained! This way they can assure the highest and most potent nutrient value as well as, consistency and efficiency each ingredient was given by mother nature.

I was first introduced to the line by my usual curious ways…basically I was walking by their store in Beverly Hills and walked in.  I had no idea what a blessing it would be to learn their products, for my skin and to gain knowledge about pure products.  I started off with their face wash and moisturizer.  I soon ventured into the entire line, including putting my boyfriend on it as well.  The results that I gained from using Jurlique have been unsurpassable.  The potency of each product has such muscle that within days my skin was shining and I was singing!  Although the price of some of their products can be a tad bit more expensive, due to the potency of their products you don’t feel it in your wallet as frequently.  Not to mention, the more you use their different products like their Calendula Cream or Elder Cream, the less you need because your skin is healing.  I have discovered that I would rather invest to heal myself rather than skimp on taking care of myself and end up paying for it later in life.  The way our environment is nowadays it is more important than ever to preserve. And that goes for our skin too. Our skin is our largest organ.  Be aware that what you put on your skin is just as important as what you put inside your body.  That being said I urge all whom ask to read labels. See what is inside the products they use everyday. If you can’t pronounce the ingredients, look them up. I heart Agraria home fragrances!

I never thought I would say, “I am so thankful you broke my Herve Gambs candle!”  I know that sounds a lil bit much, but they are my absolute favorite.  My brother came to stay with us, as he always does when in town.  I didn’t realize anything was wrong until a couple days after he left  I felt broken glass on my foot in my guest bathroom…come to find out my candle had mysteriously jumped off the shelf?!  No worries though.  Like the amazing man he is, my brother that I wish I had, was quick to replace it the next week he was in town and let me know what had happened one morning at 5am while scramblin’ to get to the airport. Eesh!  I was bummed that my candle was hasta luego. I had no idea who this new fragrance company was…. Now I think I have a new favorite!

I have nothing more to say than,” Go get some for your own living space.”

Ism…The first impression that is left that I enjoy the most is fragrance.  It speaks volumes on the personality and character of the people that live in the space and also the environment.  I make an extra effort to gift my house guests with a fragrance that will not only have them asking where they can get some, but also giving them a feeling of comfort as if they are at home.  Mi casa, Su casa!

Akasha in Culver City is worth every penny.

I was getting some catch up time with my beautiful friend, Nicki and her 4month old Meadow.  We didn’t have much time and had no idea what we were in the mood for.

We were around the quaint shopping are in Culver City and passed by Akasha.  Unbenownst to us, we walked into an organic restaurant!  Not to mention, they pride themselves in the extremely long list of fabulous wines and creative cocktails to match the exceptional cuisine.

They have seasonal cocktails with the freshest of ingredients.

Since I wasn’t driving I indulged in what was a very full-bodied beauty!!…lookout for this one in your local wine house; you will not be disappointed.

and for the first time I had Asparugus Soup that I loved!!!…topped with a caramelized onion confit.

Nicki’s monkfish topped with pesto was beyond fantastic….and curry cauliflower?!…I am jones’n.

Ism…It is always refreshing to just go with the flow and see where it takes you.  When you have no expectations, that is usually when you are most impressed and blessed!  We found a treasure that not only was amazing for our tastebuds, but also learned about some boutique wines.  There is nothing better than good food, good wine, and good company to share it with!

I couldn’t believe it when I saw the adds with Blythe dolls! If you don’t know grab one, that is if you can afford one, before there are no more!   Alexander McQueen is such a visionary.  He is definitely one of my favorites. He knows how to “keep it real” but still look intelligently fashionable.  His inspiration was all about Leila Moss, of the rocker band Duke Spirit.  I actually remember to go online and order a few things, my fave being these leggings. They are super comfy and sexy.  Seriously, I was shocked. The fabric was quality. The hardware and stitching was on point.  All in all, I was totally impressed and didn’t go broke.

If ya didn’t get yours, be very upset!…..Stay tuned and keep a close eye on Target all you Fashion snobs….I have a feeling there is much more to come with Target and their bag of tricks.

Ism…I love learning about what inspires people.  How do designs become what they are?  Where does each detail that creates the personality of the clothing come from?  I find it to be somewhat inspirational to learn how simple and yet constant inspiration can be.  ’Always keep one eye open’ is my motto.

Belvedere vodka has always been my favorite. What would a girl do without a Belvedere Dirty Martini? or the classic Greyhound?? It has always been known to be the finest and best tasting….but let me tell you, the new macerated addition to the Belvedere family is well worth the wait!  Maceration is the refined and timely process to utter perfection as far as Belvedere would like you to think.  When you taste it, that’s when you know for yourself…Bellissima!!!

TOM’S shoes are a no brainer. How could anyone not buy a pair of these. I went into Beckley Boutique this past weekend and found a pair I had to get! For every pair purchased, TOM’S will give a pair to a child in need. “One for One” is their motto.  Blake Mycoskie was an American traveler that noticed a way he could help children all over the world in need. This year he plans to give 300,000 shoes to children in need.  Let’s talk about the packaging though. When you open the box there is a TOM’S flag to snap a pic of where you go in your TOM’S shoes. They  use all recyclable materials….

I have not taken them off since I put these pretty lil things on. I thought I might be challenged to find outfits that tickle my fancy to work with these shoes, but it was no challenge at all.   They are SUPER comfortable and so easy!  Not to mention that these shoes come in a variety of colors, prints, and fabric choices.  So it is almost impossible not to find something for everyone’s taste.  Plus the price point on these are just ridiculous, in the most beautifully economic way.  And quite honestly,  it warms my heart to think that I am helping Blake to spread love to all the children in the world…..

Ism…There are times in our lives that our soul speaks to us and tries to draw attention to something we should get involved with to make better.  There is no better gift than the ability to give.  It is one of the most indescribable feelings to see positive change happening from one person just making time to listen and trust that voice.  Everyone get a pair or two and let’s see how long it will take to give every child in need a pair.

Rachel Zoe, A-list celebrity stylist, opened her closet of vintage treasures she has cherished throughout the years for an amazing cause.

The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance and Rachel Zoe teamed up at Decades Two for a very successful event. Proceeds from the sale of Zoe’s personal stash of vintage goods went to help educate through creating policy, programs, and events for all women nationally of ovarian cancer. As always there was lots of food and champagne to go around while shopping the goods. The event raised more than $10,000 for the organization.

Ism…Everyone has a more beautiful side of their soul.  The media tends to emphasize a more ugly and negative side of people in the public eye.  They think it is going to be more interesting and keep society’s attention.  I am firmly against reading and listening to what is portrayed negatively. Rachel Zoe has definitely been made out to be a Corella DeVille, but that is not factually based.  What is fact??…She is a women of sophistocated and glamorous taste and style.  She proceeds the women that raised her like her mother and her grandmother by knowing the importance of uplifting women and bringing out their inner beauty.  Rachel showed me that she is not only a very wise, confident, and business savy leader, but also a warm and caring women that wants to be supportive and give back.  Take notes ladies….she is one to watch not only for her superb sense of what is fashionable and sensible on a women’s body, but also her hustle!

Smashbox O-Bronzer and O-Plump….

Okay so I was very excited to get the box of goodies and see I had some Smashbox inside!  Let’s first talk about the O-Plump. It is a lip plumper that has an intuitive lip enhancing plumper that goes on clear and then changes color dependant on your own personal lip chemistry.   Sounds Great right?…well when I tried it the consistency was okay, a little stick.  Then after 10 milliseconds my lips started to BURN like never before!….it has several different herbs and antioxidants in there that have never ever felt so wrong.  I have never wiped something off and still felt it hours later…I swear I was on my way to an audition and was laughing hysterically at myself in the car driving. I had a Lucille Ball moment.  My lips were burning and nothing I did or drank could stop them from burning.  I am a tough girl when it comes to trying new things and enduring the pain and agony for the sake of beauty….but this was a whole level I do not want to know about again….YIKES!

On the other hand……the O-Bronzer by Smashbox was a pleasant recovery from the O-Plump.  I love adding a lil bronzer to my summer beauty look!  I am always trying to stretch the summer glow as long as I can.  So this is a new product you all need to try.  It is amazing!  It applies milky white…t

….then there are these little beads that pop as the product emulsifies onto your skin.  

Then the bronze tone comes thru and you can apply wherever you like to add a nice hue of the bronze. 

 I put it on my decollete and arms as well to add a nice sheen…..just what we ladies need to put a lil bit of “HOT” in our Fabulous for Summer look!
