Need to run a quick errand but you have no make-up on? No problem! Some big sunglasses and some vibrant lipstick will do the trick. A helpful tip for a haute mommy. Just see above!

Now I wear patches. It is so easy to gain all the healing benefits of aromatherapy essential oils with Natural Patches of Vermont. They come in individual packs or in packs of 10. They are easy to place onto the skin and easy to remove as well Lasting up to 24 hrs,... Read The Rest →
This baby by Bulgari is a dream bag with the ridiculous price tag. $2300 to be exact. That’s just too real for me!! I wouldn’t be surprised to see this bag rocked by celeb mommies. But if you’re not quite yet ready to swipe the equivalent of rent on a handbag then may I suggest getting the look for less. I found this site that makes replicas. The question I always ponder is: Which do I want more, the brand or the style? Of course, quality comes with the brand, but... Read The Rest →

In Honor of Martin Luter King Jr. Day, I thought it would be fun to reflect on the Mrs. Of course Coretta was an admired woman, and mother. And thus her impact in fashion still resonates. I find it fascinating that her legacy is thriving in 2012/2013 strong. Here are some examples of just how fabulously fashionable Mrs. Coretta Scott King was. 1. All About Feathers 2. Caped Crusading 3. Spectator Contrast 4. Pass the Pearls, even at the dinner table. 5. The Bag. The Gloves. The Hair. 6. Baby... Read The Rest →
While the night’s winners and those golden statues were all the rage last night, I was wowed by all of the haute mommies on the carpet. Lets take another look at all the gorgeous mommies that walked the red carpet! Kate, Sofia, and Emily went classic. Their bodies are flawless. They both kept their looks simple and shined because of it. Both chose a little bling but in completely different ways. Bravo ladies! Kate never steers wrong. You can tell she is a true fashionista! And side note, funny how... Read The Rest →
Laundry day in my house is every other day. Things are a little crazy in my world lately because my washing machine and dryer are currently not available…a water pipe burst in our wall behind the laundry area. So what else can I do but go to the laundrymat?? Of course I have to bring my toddler with me to entertain me while we wait for the clothes to finish washing. He is totally amused by the entire idea of carts to wheel around open aisles…fun times I tell ya, SUPER... Read The Rest →
With the winter season in full effect, I thought I would share a recipe for a hot toddy that gets nods all around in my world. I actually tested out a new recipe replacing honey for maple syrup and the bees sting kept its buzz! When feeling the first signs of a cold or flu I highly suggest making this toddy. I recommend doing the following: Change into your snuggly house coat or favorite hoodie. Get your favorite chill spot set up with a cashmere throw and a good book... Read The Rest →
Scissors. They clip tags, strings, those annoying plastic hanger straps, etc. I like the Fiskars 4″ compact scissors. Paulaisms has PUT YOU ON.
I want to make sure to bring 2013 in with some words that will hopefully resinate with you. When you find yourself in a challenging situation or just overwhelmed by all that falls on your lap, do the following. Take a deep breath and repeat these words out loud three times. ASPIRE. 1. To long, aim, or seek ambitiously; be eagerly desirous, especially for something great or of high value (usually followed by to, after, or an infinitive): to aspire after literary immortality; 2. Archaic. to rise up; soar; mount; tower. I share this word first to make sure all of you recognize the importance of using an “I” in front of it when saying it outloud. REPLENISH. 1. To make full or complete again, as by supplying what is lacking, used up, etc. 2. To supply with fresh fuel. 3.... Read The Rest →
