JIC You Are Fashionably Late…
This NYFW was kinda extraordinary. I have not been this excited about what I have seen with almost all of my fave designers and new designers in quite some time! So I figured I would give you a little fashion “Must Have” forecast that you can depend on. This coming spring 2014 is going to be one of my favorites! As you will quickly notice the color for Spring 2014 is definitely creamy whites. Check out some of my favorites:
PROENZA SCHOULER is something special this season. The mix of creamy whites and metallics is so crisp and brilliant. I love the casual top mixed with a more dressy longer skirt.
REED KRAKOFF is killing me with this uber chic effortless look. Even the handbag and how it is being held is genius. Bellisima! I love the additional metallic strappy foot candy
CHRISTIAN SIRIANO slammed it with this look. This gorgeous canary yellow gown paired with a sleek trouser is absolutely fabulous. This will get knocked off a thousand times and will probably be a new staple for more formal occasions. The color pop is perfection.
PRABAL GURUNG is a designer that I always connect with. He definitely knows how to add style and wearability?? (I might have just made that word up lol.) The shoes I already added to my wish list.
VICTORIA BECKHAM has a iconic style that translates into everything she does. This collection doesn’t fall short of that. This opening look sets the tone for all the other pieces that I wish I could have. The layers and the black culottes type skirt are just beyond.
ZAC POSEN has the corset look on LOCK. He has every woman wanting to have constricted breathing if they will look like this in this tea length strapless frock. The golden print is a delicious change of pace.
ZIMMERMANN is a designer’s collection that I have recently discovered. The mixing of prints and fabric choices are divine. I would wear this all day and all night! I love how there is minimal makeup and hair as well. It is all about the look! And yet again, metallics crisp whites and black stripes with fabric varieties of all my favorites.
