Now that school is back in session no better time than now to start the family on higher doses of antioxidants. What is an antioxidant you ask? Well according to the Webster’s Dictionary:

a substance (as beta-carotene or vitamin C) that inhibits oxidation or reactions promoted by oxygen, peroxides, or free radicals

They are vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that protect and repair cells from damage caused by free radicals. You can up your intake of pomegranate, tomatoes, berries, peaches, kale,plums,bell pepper, cantaloupe, spinach, corn, and cherries to get a kick start on your health. AND you can also start to armor up your skin with what it needs to keep the entire families immunity. I use Shea Moisture Baby Red Bush & Babassu to do just that.
