1. Take 4 fillets of fresh wild Tilapia and rinse them off. Then lay them flat in a pyrex retangular dish. Add Olive oil/2 pinches of salt&pepper/and rub fresh minced Garlic onto the fish. Add a pinch of Taragon.
2. Add 1/2 cup of cooking white wine and 3-4 Kumkuat to Tilapia. Let marinate in fridge for 1 hr.

3. Heat pan for 1-2 minutes, then add 1/4 cup of olive oil.
4. Once oil is warm add 1 thinly sliced Sweet Maui Onion, 1 half of Yellow Pepper and 1 half Orange Pepper to pan. Wait until onion is clear and lightly browned and peppers are soft..
5. Then remove Tilapia from fridge.
6. On a separate plate pour 1 cup of bread crumbs out onto plate, lay each piece of Tilapia on top of the bread crumbs and then reverse side. The fish should be lightly covered.
7. Add to pan and lay on top of onion/pepper mix. Lower flame to medium/simmer.
8. Cook at medium simmer for 10 minutes covered.
9. Add a sprig of Rosemary and place on top of fish to garnish. Then turn heat off and recover to let sit and steam heat the rosemary for 3 minutes.

Serve with a Mixed Herb salad, steamed Jasmine rice, or all by itself.
I scored a 10 on this dish and had the entire family asking for more. It took less than 10 minutes to cook and was effortless to prepare for. I used my imagination and took a leap of faith. You try and let me know what you think.
Ism…Without a taking chances you never know what will and won’t work. I am thankful I took a leap of faith on this idea for a recipe…It was healthy and super easy!

Established in 1924, this is a landmark that can’t be past up. Nor the guacamole!

a photo from back in the day…

I seriously thought I was biting into my Grandma’s guacamole?!…what all guacamole dreams of tasting like.

The mole veggie enchiladas were out of this world. I am sure the chicken were even better but I rather not.

I heard the margaritas were ridiculous, but I wasn’t prepared for them to taste as good as this photo looks!

The horchata, traditional mexican rice milk and cinnamon sugar drink, was almost good enough to forget about dessert.

What would a trip to Olvera Street be without the serenade from the very talented men?! I have grown up listening to them play.

Although, I have never been serenaded by such lovely, beautiful little girls as Miss Aires Amor and Miss Pheonix….LOL they are so adorable! By the looks of their plates I am sure you understand why you need not waste any more time and go to La Golondrina Restaurant.
Ism…Authenticity is key to establishing a clear understanding of your background. I find it necessary to not only introduce my daughter to our family history, but I feel obliged and am honored to be able to let her get a taste of it as well.

LADWP sent this out to everyone in the LA county. I feel so encouraged to think that the LADWP gave everyone all the tools and instructions they need to be productive with practicing water conservation.
Ism…Water conservation is key to environmental consciousness.

Nola has the valley in extreme cool down mode these days!

All will find a flavor to their liking. They even have non alcoholic flavors that give you the taste without the alcohol content.

My family is hooked and especially since we know it is a more healthy alternative to other indulgent desserts!
Ism…Other than cupcake and frozen yogurt spots, it is so refreshing to stumble upon a unique alternative to the typical trendy craze! Snowcones!! Shaved ice!! It is exactly what the valley ordered.

Hiden behind a parking alley off Melrose in LA, REVOLVE boutique is a treasure to be found!

the entrance gives the impression that you are in a simplistic bamboo garden.

They carry all kinds of cool and very chic brands that keep any creative-minded individualist inspired!

I love when people get creative and use things in a not so obvious way!

My special find for the day is this AMaZING Disaya Zipper bangle bracelet…and no it doesn’t unzip!
Ism…Always look at what might be hidden behind the obvious. Peace & Blessings, Paula
